or learned in formal study—and there is nothing wrong with that kind of learning. Life-changing belief, however, is based on Spirit-taught truth. Profession is what we know with our brains. Belief is what has found a home in our hearts. Orthodox profession is what enables us to pass theological examinations and even ordination councils. Orthodox belief is what enables us to live to the glory of God. The mind is the battleground. It is where battles are won or lost. That is why Paul says that you
